Katie Zurakovsky

Katie Zurakovsky is a wildlife and pet portrait artist working predominantly with oils but also producing black and white sketches. Having grown up in the countryside of Kent the natural world has always been a big influence to her; inspiring her to draw and paint from a young age and going on to study Fine Art at the Kent Institute of Art & Design.

Her interest in wildlife eventually led to her volunteering in Africa as at a wildlife rehabilitation centre where helping to rescue and rehabilitate animals motivated her towards wildlife painting as well as volunteering more locally.

Through her paintings she hopes she can share some of the inspiration and passion she gets from the natural world with others.
